How do you cope when your wife, mother, or best friend suddenly dies?  “After Annie” by Anna Quindlen follows a family as they struggle without the woman that was central to their lives.  Her daughter is forced to face adulthood at a young age.  Through it all they are able to grow, change, and become stronger.

There are two sides to every story and so is the case with "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn."  This month we will read "James" by Percival Everett.  This story recounts "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” but is told from the viewpoint of the enslaved Jim.
